Making Your Favorite Seafood Restaurant Dishes at Home

[ad_1]

One of the unique things about seafood is that it is “craveable.” We see a photo of a delectable seafood dish and our stomachs start to rumble. That’s why eating seafood at a restaurant can be such a treat! We’ve heard from some of you that you would like to stretch your culinary muscles and try some favorite restaurant seafood dishes at home. With that in mind, we’ve perfected a list of copycat recipes for some popular seafood restaurant dishes to inspire you!

And oh, yes, we’ve picked these restaurant recipes from a medley of different cuisines – Mexican, Asian, Italian and more. (We were sure to include our favorite burrito bowl recipe, of course, in honor of National Burrito Day on April 4th!) These meals are a great way to expand your seafood repertoire at home. Perfect for a stay-in date night or when you’re hosting dinner club! You can also boost the dining-at-home specialness factor by setting the table with flowers and candles.

One of the best aspects of cooking the food yourself is that you can control the nutrition content, through less sodium and fewer calories. Seafood is an excellent, healthful protein choice and is rich in heart-healthy omega-3s. Eating fish and shellfish two to three times a week can help lower your blood cholesterol levels and reduce the risk of heart disease.

While we love eating seafood at restaurants (and at festivals and from food trucks), it’s so much fun to dish up some restaurant-style meals at home! These are sure to become regulars in your recipe rotation.
